The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board is responsible for regulating the sale of alcohol, educating the public on the responsible use of alcohol, and preventing underage alcohol use. The Pennsylvania State Police via the Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement is responsible for the enforcement of all liquor laws. The PLCB funds the state police and this function with Operational Revenues. The PLCB is comprised up of a board which includes three members that the Governor of Pennsylvania appoints to there positions.
