The Office of the Victim Advocate (OVA) is responsible for the commonwealths post-sentencing rights of Pennsylvania citizens and services for victims of crime in the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections and the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole.  Some common services that the OVA provides is services to victims choosing to witness an execution, curriculum development for the educational programs, and dialogue programs for victims of violent crime.
