The Pennsylvania State Fire Commissioners Office is responsible for the operation of the State Fire Academy Training, Local Level Training and Firefighter Certification Programs. Financially the office is in charge of the Volunteer Loan Assistance Program, and the Fire Company and Volunteer Ambulance Service Grant Programs.  Also Pennsylvania State Fire Commissioners Office offers Public Education and Information, the Pennsylvania Fire Information Reporting System, fire resources, and the Firefighter’s Memorial Flag program.
