The Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency is responsible for initiating, validating, and financially supporting the justice-related programs of the Pennsylvania justice system. The PCCD focuses on research, policy, planning, training, evidence-based programming, technology, outreach, and support services, which empower communities through collaboration, protect and support crime victims, enhance law enforcement, break the linkage of mental health, intellectual disabilities, substance abuse and crime, advocate for safe schools, and research justice trends that warrant attention and action.
